To provide the ultimate peace of mind when booking trips for myself and others, I created my own website - Travel by Moniz - and now specialize in my favourite destinations: Portugal, Spain, USA & Caribbean. My home away from home is Madeira Island, in Portugal, where I love to visit my parents, my nan, and my family. This photo was taken back in 2021 from my parents' Inn in Madeira, when the world was still under the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Back then, I was nearly sure that one day, we would get rid of the pandemic, travel restrictions would get lifted, and people would travel again. 

It seems I was right! 

After quite a lot of intense training, building, and developing relationships, the resolution of transforming a passion of mine into a business came to reality. This way, Travel by Moniz was designed.

COMPLAINT DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you have a problem whilst on holiday, this must be reported to the relevant principal/supplier or their local supplier or agent immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint. The amount of compensation you may be entitled to may be reduced or you may not receive any at all, depending upon the circumstances. If you wish to complain when you return home, write to the principal/supplier. You will see the name and address plus contact details in any confirmation documents we send you. We will of course, assist you with this if you wish- please contact your InteleTravel agent and copy Customer Services at customerservice@inteletravel.com. If the matter cannot be resolved and it involves us or another ABTA Member, then you have the option to use ABTA's ADR scheme, approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, see www.abta.com

Insurance

It is a condition of travel on our packages that all travelers are adequately covered by travel insurance before departure. Insurance should cover personal accident and medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation, baggage loss, and cancellation or curtailment of holiday in addition to the COVID-19 provisions below.  

You must purchase a specialist travel insurance policy which includes specific cover for Covid-19 related issues and incidents that may affect your package and, if necessary, travelling to a destination subject to an FCDO advisory against travel. It remains your responsibility to read and understand the insurance policy and ensure that it is suitable and adequate for your particular needs.
